At The Euroamericano school, we feel that intellectual development
cannot be separated from physical and artistic development. Therefore,
all of those activities that are generally considered extracurricular
are included in the general curriculum under the category Workshops,
to which all children are given access.
Art:
painting, drawing, ceramics, making and use of recycled paper, etc.
These develop perceptivity and manual skills as well as contributing
to an environmental education.
Modern
Dance, Corporal Expression, Theater and Mime: an excellent way
to encourage bodily expression and build self-discipline.
Music & Voice: these aid children in understanding other cultures
and provide a structured way for them to express themselves through
music.
Robotics:
a technique which combines ingenuity with mathematics and physics
while developing the childs creative facilities through concentration
and self-discipline.
Chess:
a game requiring concentration, chess builds analytical skills and
teaches strategy and self-control.
Orchard:
In the Orchard Workshop, students learn about the planting, care
and harvest of all types of vegetables and aromatic herbs, which
are then prepared and served in our cafeteria.
